Love, the Ostergar family.
Why should you suffer when we have suffered for you? Why should we get all the fun when you can have some too?
Why This Blog?
Cathy and I have 5 kids. Between the seven of us, we are collectively exposed to all kinds of products, services and a wide variety of entertainment, media and activities. This blog contains our musings on things that we like, things we don't like and things we may be ambivalent about. Hopefully our trial and error will help make your life a bit easier.
Love, the Ostergar family.
How the Ratings Work
5 Beavers: heavenly
4 Beavers: really good
3 Beavers: good
2 Beavers: fair to poor
1 Beaver: no "beaver's home" good.

Why Beavers?
Allen's family growing up (aka the busy beavers) had a song that they sang on special occassions:
We are beavers one!
We are beavers all!
We all get together
And give our beaver call!
(Then we all give the beaver call which is hard to describe but involves tapping the two front teeth on the bottom lip while making a beaver face.)
Since those busy beaver days, the beaver has become somewhat of a family mascot.
